The first entry

I have been to many destinations in my life, but until recently haven't realized that the journey is even more important. Do any of us really relax and enjoy the everyday journey that is life? How do you see yours?

I read a lot and one of my favorite lines is from a Love Inspired Romance called "Be My Neat-Heart" by Judy Baer. The main female character is talking to her crazy, inventor friend:

"Why do you keep fooling with this thing?" I asked as I dipped my finger into
the odd-looking frosting. "If someone wants a fully electronic house, they can
buy it that way. Aren't you reinventing the wheel?"

"It's fun," he said cheerfully. "Besides, it's not the destination, it's the journey."

We all need to keep in mind that there are many aspects to our journey. Some good, some bad; but all very important to our experience. The journey may also include times that see like we're in the wilderness or utterly, completely all alone. At these times, we are able to experience growth in our walk through life.

How we walk, talk, and experience our journey is dependent on many things. Through the next days, weeks, months, etc I invite you to join me as I share my journey with you. The highs, lows, and growth.
